Two Stage Air Compressor Test RigThe test rig comprises of a two-stage air compressor fitted with an air tank with orifice, pressure gauges 9 an energy meter to measure the input & a Temperature indicator measures the temperatures at various points. The compressor is mounted on air receiver along with the motor, and is provided with air relief valve (safety) and a pressure switch. The unit determines volumetric efficiency and isothermal efficiency at various discharge pressures

2. Electric Motor 3 H.P. 3phase , 440V. 50HZ. With DOL Starter

 

3. Safety Guard for rotating parts to avoid accidental injury to the user when the parts are rotating

 

4. Control Panel At least MS CRCA 14 gauge control panel to house the digital indicators, switches, etc and wiring

 

5. Temperature measurement RTD with 6 point selector switch & Digital Temperature Indicator Range 0-200 deg C (5Nos)

 

6. Air make measurement & Air Flow transmitter Air drum with orifice , Range 0-250 mm WC , Type: DPT

 

7. Pressure Measurement Range : Negative side – 1kg/cm² to 0kg/cm² , Positive side Range : 0kg/cm² to 15kg/cm²

 

8. Compressor Speed

Variation and Measurement Facility to vary speed from 0 to 1500 rpm infinite steps using a Knob (Potentiometer) VFD may be used for motor speed, Proximity Type Sensor with 7 segment , 3.5 digit LED display Range : 0 to 1500 RPM

 

9. Power Measurement Power transmitter to measure input power to the electrical motor. Suitable for above motor rating. Output : 4 to 20 ma

 

10. Manual Hard copy and CD copy of the self explanatory operating manuals with detailed theory as well as practical exercise.

 

11. Cylinder Pressure Measurement. High temperature cable and amplifier, Output : 0 to 10V d c Range : 0 to 15 bar

 

12. Crank Angle make: Autonics, Range- 500 PPR with one ref. Pulse, Resolution – 1 degree

 

13. ADC/DAC interface 250 KS/s. Analog outputs, Digital Outputs, USB compatible
